US Kenpo Kai Nominated for a 2009 Nickelodeon Parent’s Picks Award!

The other day we received a letter in the mail notifying us that we’ve been nominated for a 2009 Nickelodeon’s Parent’s Picks Award! We’re honored to be even included as a nominee in this prestigious award for Miami’s best of martial arts category. So, please, in the best of Florida electoral traditions, vote daily for us :)

June 2009 Miami Filipino Martial Arts Camp

Come join us once again for another terrific weekend of Doces Pares classes with 12th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Cacoy Canete and 7th Degree Black Belt Senior Professor Zach Whitson on June 27th and 28th, 2009.

Saturday will feature a full day of training with the legendary Cacoy Canete. Grandmaster Canete is considered by many to be the ‘Babe Ruth’ of Filipino martial arts and is a living legend. We are fortunate to have GM Canete in for his third workshop at our school and this is an event you will not want to miss!

Sunday will have workshops with Senior Professor Zach Whitson, 7th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo, Mataas Na Guro in Pekiti Tirsia and Master 6th Degree Black Belt in Doce Pares. Professor Whitson is the creator of Counterpoint Tactical Systems (CTS).

Weekend seminar fee is $195 (save $20 by pre-registering before May 10, 2009).
